75% Chance
I took my wife to get an ultrasound, yesterday. For those of you that don’t know, she is currently 18 weeks pregnant with Number 2. The baby is healthy and active. It did take a moment out of it’s hectic schedule to laugh at us and wave hello. Yeah, it was fun.
We were suppose to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl. Unfortunately the baby was not in a great position to check out its bits and pieces – not like I would have known what to look for at 18 weeks… The Ultrasonographer (Dang, that’s an awesome job title), said she didn’t see anything that indicated it was a boy, but couldn’t give us a definite result. She gave us a 75% chance that it’s a girl, but told us not to paint the walls pink yet.
My wife isn’t scheduled for another ultrasound, so we very may well not know what’s in store (or belly) for us. Either way though, I’m just happy that the baby is healthy.
