Madeline Kyle Marino
She’s here! Our daughter, Madeline was born on October 11, 2007 at 12:57pm, weighing in at 8 pounds and 5 ounces. She is 19.5 inches. She is adorable and we love her to death. God has blessed us with this addition to our family.
We came home yesterday afternoon. The first night is always the hardest, but last night went really well. I think it’s safe to say that we all got around six hours of sleep.
Our son, Micah seems to be enjoying Madeline too. We were afraid that he would be jealous or upset, but he seems to be taking a real liking to her. We’ve made an extra effort to include him with helping out and keeping him involved.
Katie and I are dead tired – especially Katie. She was in active labor for 24 hours. Luckily she only ended up pushing for 10 minutes!
I have a week off from work, but what I really mean when I say that is that I’ll be home with my family because I’ll be working pretty hard around the house to help take care of everyone!
