Moving On

Like the title reads, I’m moving on. That is to say, I am no longer employed by PC Connection. My new employer is Dynamic Network Services, Inc. Sounds like a mouthful, so from here on out, I’ll refer to them as DNS. My job title is User Interface Developer. As far as what they do, I think their web site sums it up better than I ever could:

We specialize in DNS, email and domain name services and cater to the needs of more than two million users, from home enthusiasts to Fortune 500 companies.

They have achieved a lot since they were founded in 1998:

All our services are powered by our home-engineered network, spanning six data centers on three continents. Over the past ten years, we have custom-built dedicated hardware and software, creating one of this world’s most resilient, responsive and reliable networks. Our DNS has not gone down once since 2001 despite processing over 500 million queries every single day.

You may have heard of some of their clients like the Mozilla Foundation, CNN Networks, and Twitter—just to name a few. They were voted Best Company to Work for in New Hampshire in 2007 and have also received other awards as well.

I’m very excited about this transition! It will be a big change for me in many ways, and I look forward to the new challenges I will face.

Daniel,

Congrats! I’ve been a customer of theirs (Custom Dynamic DNS and Mailhop outbound) for many years and have had nothing but great experience with their products. I’m sure your presence will only improve that experience.

Nathan
